Terms of Service

The Site lets you read Scripture, browse pre-generated verse studies, and generate AI-assisted Bible studies. Some features are free; unlimited AI studies require a paid subscription. We may add, change, or remove features and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

• Billing:Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe’s hosted checkout. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
• Cancellation: You can cancel at any time through the billing portal we provide or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the paid period.
• Price changes: We may change prices going forward, with notice as required by law.
• Refunds: Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Free access (including any free study) is offered on a limited basis and may be metered or rate-limited. You agree not to circumvent usage limits, subscription checks, or security measures, including by automating requests or creating multiple accounts to obtain free usage.

AI features produce machine-generated text that may contain errors or omissions. It is provided for general education and devotion only and is not professional theological, legal, medical, or counseling advice. Always compare AI output to Scripture and consult qualified teachers or pastors as appropriate. You are responsible for how you rely on or share AI-generated content.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with the Site’s security or performance
• Scrape, overload, or abuse the AI study endpoint or other Site resources

The Site, its design, branding, and original software are owned by us or our licensors. Bible text and translation names are used under applicable licenses from their respective copyright holders. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

The Site relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI responses), Meta (advertising measurement), Resend (email), Supabase (accounts and subscription state), and our hosting provider. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US $50).

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.

We may modify these Terms and will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. We may suspend or discontinue the Site or your access where permitted by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence may also apply where required.
